The News
”We’ve started the slow climb out of the giant black hole. The U.S. job market improved in November, with the lowest number of jobs lost in nearly two years, according to the ADP employment survey released today.
In November, ADP reports the private sector cut 169,000 jobs. In October, 195,000 jobs were lost. Job losses peaked at 736,000 in March and have lessened every month since, ADP said.
“Although overall economic activity is stabilizing, employment usually trails economic activity, so it is likely to decline for at least a few more months,” ADP said.
Goods-producing jobs fell by 88,000 in November, including 44,000 in manufacturing and 44,000 in construction. Services-producing jobs fell by 81,000.
Total private-sector employment stood at 108.2 million in November, down 7.4 million from 115.6 million in December 2007 when the recession began.
According to ADP, 7.4 million private-sector jobs have been lost since the recession began.”
My Take
I have every confidence that the economy is taking a turn for the better and will slowly regain strength. I look forward to seeing how it does and what people will do in reaction to it. Im curious what new businesses will be born as it regrows and what new opportunities will present themselves to us new entrepreneurs. I know its slow to go, but any good news is great to hear these days we just have to have hope that the good news continues!

My Take
Its always hard to enter the social media realm and be successful since there is so much other competition going on right now and the market is saturated. Since theres so many other things like it, I dont know how successful it will be because even photobooth is similar, however I know theres always just a bit more room in the social media world for unique things. Only time will tell how well this new player will be. Once again I see no revenue source or plan so I hope they have something up their sleeves. Still a cool site to check out and stay updated on!
